Okay, I need to withdraw my earlier bug report, It looks like my D-Link card is defective. After formatting and installing Windows XP (yuck!) in order to obtain support from D-Link tech support, the card is not recognized on my machine, nor on another machine I borrowed. The error messages I once received are no longer occuring. In fact, the drivers/Kernel modules are no longer being loaded upon insert, andWindows XP machines recognise the device as an unknown PCI card!!!

In short, please disregard my previous submission (and this one too...).
