I agree with comments about this "bug" or drive enhancement needing to be a higher priority. Even if
DMA can't be enabled by default due to installation issues, can a check box option to enable DMA be
placed under "System"..."Preferences"..."Removable Drives and Media"? At that point, maybe a script
could be executed to get it going??? Sorry that I'm not a programmer.
