Confirming: 2.6.22-10 is broken. Seems like the model parameter to snd_hda_intel do not take effect anymore.
On my Toshiba Satellite P205 with 2.6.22-9, model="lenovo" the sound (mic, speakers muting etc.) worked 100% OK. Now I've got half the options in the alsa mixer and they don't work as expected.
