Yes, I used the upgrade tool to install Ibex..

Did you try to do a clean install and fix the issue?

(I remember that I tried to boot from the clean 8.10 CD and mount the same disk to test the speed. The speed is the same as I boot from my hard drive. So it seemed the clean install might not work for me. Anyway I'd like to hear if you succeeded.)
