Comment 5 for bug 246413

Renice the process kcryptd between 0 and 5 improves the user experience drastically.
I am doing a heavy io load right now , burning an iso image to the harddisk. It still gets a 50%-60% usage , but it doesn't block. I can type and use the the os, what an idea right?

Even though it is taking 50% cpu , the desktop is still usable , before it would completely block.

sudo renice 0 (what ever kcryptd process id is)
