The solution is to blacklist acer_wmi module, i.e. to have the following config file :
$ cat /etc/modprobe.d/blacklist-acer.conf blacklist acer_wmi
Probably acer_wmi should use whitelists instead of blacklists. It just has to be blacklisted too often.
