Same here with Dell Latitude 5420 and Lucid Lynx -- hang on reboot. "reboot=pci" is a pain: couldn't boot after the change of /etc/default/grub. Adding 'reboot=pci' to the 'GRUB_CMDLINE_LINUX' sucks. Instead, the line should read "reboot=a,b,k,c".
This last change was successful -- reboot is working now as it should. Thank you, guys!
