Hi , I have recently upgraded to 11.10 version, and im facing similar issues with CPU fan noise and heat.
I didnt face this issue in any previous versions of ubuntu. I have tried a fresh installation of 11.10 , still the same.
anyone advise me how to resolve this ?

i use toshiba M200 laptop.
