I can also confirm that Pavel's patch works. Here are the steps I did:

Patch for Ubuntu 15.04 (vivid):

1) Open the sources file using the nano file editor:
sudo nano /etc/apt/sources.list

2) Add these two lines to the bottom of the /etc/apt/sources.list file:

deb http://ppa.launchpad.net/pboldin/nm/ubuntu vivid main
deb-src http://ppa.launchpad.net/pboldin/nm/ubuntu vivid main

3) Hold down ctrl and press o and then press enter. Now hold down ctrl+x, to exit nano.

4) Enter these command:
sudo apt-get update ; sudo apt-get upgrade

5) Reboot your computer.

Why is this patch having such a hard time making it into the main repositories?
