Happened on clean installation. I tested with Unity 3D, Unity 2D, Gnome Shell. In combination with the drivers 285.05.09-0ubuntu1~oneiric~xup1 and 280.13-0ubuntu6. Works well only in "gnome classic no effects".

I think the problem is on the desktop, when using "advanced visual effects." In gnome without effects, everything works fine.
