Comment 20 for bug 1359689

It's actually a more generic problem: When I set up a normal install, without encryption, plymouth does not show up either, only when I press down and up again I see the bootsplash. In that case however it is not problematic, since there is no prompt for a password.

I am using the nouveau driver.

Martin, does the workaround of #17 work for you?
