@Leho can you compile dracut and plymouth with debug USE flag enabled and post debug logs for both please? For me it works very well and I have crypto as well. Also what's your graphic card and which drivers are you using for it (KMS vs. proprietary drivers vs (u)vesafb vs simple frambeuffer). Please share some more details.

For reference I test with Intel KMS, no FB since KMS provides fb as well.
