I have the same problem. My config:
/ - LVM (PV /dev/sda1)
/home - dm-crypt(/dev/sda2) + LVM (PV sda2_crypt)

When should I run blkid command?
I have currently commented out crypted partition from /etc/crypttab and /etc/fstab and I perform manual cryptsetup + vgchange -ay + mount
