If I set up a queue which points into a file and uses the BR-Script PPD for the DCP-7025 (/usr/share/ppd/openprinting/Brother/BR7025_2_GPL.ppd.gz) and display the output with Ghostscript I get correct results. So it seems that the shift happens inside the printer. For further investigating this I would need a PostScript output file from Hardy and one from Intrepid, to see what the filters do differently.
