Not sure what you mean by a "readable diff", this is the output form "bzr diff" so I am not sure how to make it to your liking. However to explain a bit, upstream has drastically changed the package layout, deleted some files and added some new ones. Basically the only thing that didn't change was the icons. So this could explain the excessive noise in the diff.
