Hi Mike, thanks very much for reporting back on this. This one is a little bit mysterious because I believe it should no longer be possible to get this error stacktrace after the change that was made if software-center 4.1.22 for this fix. If you don't mind, could you please attach your software-center log file to this bug as it will hopefully contain the information we need to figure out exactly what's happening. The log file can be found at:

  ~/.cache/software-center/software-center.log

We'll get to the bottom if this. Thanks again, your help is much appreciated!
