I'm going to mark this fixed - the symptom is (usually) one imap thread blocked waiting for input, no other threads blocked, and a hang on shutdown. Protz, I'm not sure if this is what you are seeing, but I would be very interested to hear if you see it with builds going forward. As I mentioned before, the other symptom is that the imap url that's blocked doesn't show up in an imap protocol log because it was started after logging is torn down.
