strace output is not super useful unless you also happened to do an "ls -l /proc/4156/fd" and logged it. Most useful would be stack traces via gdb or 'perf' although I must concede I'm not clear on where the debug symbols for official linux builds end up... one would ideally have that already installed and available so those tools could use them. If there's a way to kill it to get breakpad to report it, that might also work...
