Can you explain what is being asked for here to someone unfamiliar with this booting method?

I'm assuming there is a uboot file stored somewhere on the lost that gets copied over USB to boot the panda somehow?

Where does that file currently get stored? You want to be able to store multiple copies of such a file for different target arches?

Multiarch is a mechanism for installing multiple architectures of libraries, not binaries in general. It could potentially be used to install multiple arches of uboot-for-usb-booting if it is OK to store them in /usr/lib/<arch>/
