This is frustrating, it doesn't support 640x480 at all, and only marginally supports 800x600 (if you center it up, or close a gnome bar, it's still very ugly). Not all machines go that high, or even need to go that high.
If actual layouts were used and not static widget placement the UI could be maximized and scrolled and therefore support any resolution.
If this frontend is just a first cut to get the UI out there and people playing with it, I can definitely understand, but there is no technological reason not to support low resolutions...
