Aaron, would I be correct in saying you use a LCD? If so, find the "auto synchronize" button or such and use it. I had to do the same thing to stop the wrapping.
As for the bug being "Low", it isn't hampering anything, as the system still works even if the picture is ugly. And it didn't effect everyone either, only a certain amount of us with "apt-get upgrades" and what not.
