I'm using 6.06 LTS Dapper Drake using Gnome but with Kubuntu-Desktop installed.
I can confirm this is still a bug.
I get the following when run as a normal user:
ALSA lib seq_hw. c:456:( snd_seq_ hw_open) open /dev/snd/seq failed: No such file or directory username"
