higan 094-6 source package in Ubuntu
Changelog
higan (094-6) unstable; urgency=medium * Instead of checking for the available OpenGL version, try creating an OpenGL 3.2 context and handle possible X errors. The previous check would find the OpenGL compatibility profile version which can be lower than the core profile version (e.g. when using Mesa) leading to false positives. (Closes: #790114) - Remove check-opengl-version.patch - Add handle-opengl-x-error.patch * Remove transitional dummy package bsnes. * Add Provides: nes-emulator to d/control (Closes: #777098) * Create debian/watch. * Bump Standards-Version to 3.9.6. -- Tobias Hansen <email address hidden> Tue, 14 Jul 2015 23:52:16 +0200

higan is an emulator for Nintendos SNES, NES, Gameboy, Gameboy Color
and Gameboy Advance. It was formerly called bsnes and the SNES
emulation is especially complete and polished.
.
higan strives to provide the most faithful hardware emulation possible.
It focuses on accuracy and clean code, rather than speed and special
features. It is meant as a reference emulator to document how the underlying
hardware works. As a result the minimum system requirements are high.
.
There are three profiles that govern the amount of accuracy and required
system resources of the SNES emulation. Which profile to use can be set with:
.
# update-alternatives --config higan
