isdnutils 1:3.25+dfsg1-3.7ubuntu1 source package in Ubuntu

Changelog

isdnutils (1:3.25+dfsg1-3.7ubuntu1) xenial; urgency=low

  * Merge from Debian unstable. Remaining changes:
    - debian/capi.conf:
+ Fix typo for fcdsl2 firmware.
    - debian/capiutils.maintscript:
+ Handle migrating the blacklist file from
        /etc/modprobe.d/blacklist-capiutils.conf to the path used
        in Debian, /etc/modprobe.d/capiutils.conf.
    - debian/control:
      + Switch Build-Depends libreadline5-dev to libreadline-gplv2-dev
since this package appears to be GPLv2.
    - debian/event.d-ttyI0, debian/event.d-ttyI1,
      debian/isdnutils-base.examples, debian/isdnvboxserver.examples:
+ Add examples scripts, which need to be installed in /etc/*.
+ The two upstart scripts need to be edited.
+ Further improvements and documentation welcome.
    - debian/ipppd.maintscript:
+ Handle rename of /etc/ppp/ip-down.d/99-ipppd and
        /etc/ppp/ip-up.d/00-ipppd to /etc/ppp/ip-down.d/ipppd
        and /etc/ppp/ip-up.d/ipppd.
    - debian/isdnutils-base.cron.d:
+ Drop, it isn't a cronjob example at all
but an inittab example gone astray.
    - debian/isdnvboxserver.postinst:
      + Remove dependencies on /etc/inittab.
+ Disable the installation code to modify /etc/inittab.
    - debian/patches/capifax*.patch:
+ Apply patches that were preserved in the 3.0 (quilt)
migration, but were inadvertently not applied.
    - debian/patches/no-imake.patch:
      + Don't build xisdnload/xmonisdn using xmkmf/imake. This patch
was dropped in Debian without explanation. It still applies
and seems to still be a good idea for eventual upstreaming,
        since imake is quite obsolete.

Binary packages built by this source

capiutils: ISDN utilities - tools for CAPI-capable cards

Some ISDN cards (notably the AVM active cards, and the AVM passive cards
when using the proprietary drivers) are accessed via the CAPI interface.
The package contains utilities to initialize and get information about
 these cards.

No description available for ipppd-dbgsym in ubuntu zesty.

isdnlog: ISDN utilities - connection logger

This package provides a set of utilities that can log ISDN connections and
calculate the cost of calls. If sufficient data is available, it can even
recommend which alternate carrier would have been cheaper for a given call.
For countries where calls are charged per discrete unit, it can disconnect
the line just before the next unit starts.

isdnlog-data: ISDN utilities - connection logger data

This package provides data related to call pricing, area codes, etcetera,
in various countries, and is only useful with isdnlog.

No description available for isdnlog-dbgsym in ubuntu artful.

isdnutils-base: ISDN utilities - minimal set

This package provides the basic set of ISDN utilities needed to make use
 of an ISDN card.

Let your Debian system be your answering machine! Messages can be accessed
 remotely, automatically emailed, etc.

This package provides the vbox client, with which you can listen to the
messages recorded by a vbox server (either running on the same machine or
 accessible over the network).

No description available for isdnvboxserver in ubuntu yakkety.

isdnvboxserver-dbgsym: debug symbols for package isdnvboxserver

Let your Debian system be your answering machine! Messages can be accessed
 remotely, automatically emailed, etc.
 .
This package provides the vbox server, which must be installed on the
system with the ISDN card. To actually listen to the recorded messages
you need the client package (isdnvboxclient) somewhere, not necessarily on
 the same system.

pppdcapiplugin: ISDN utilities - pppd plug-in for CAPI support

Some ISDN cards can be used by CAPI utilities - for instance the AVM
passive cards. This package provides a plug-in for the regular PPP
daemon to drive such cards via CAPI.
