Ubuntu 12.10
CPU: AMD Athlon II X4 640, quad core
Graphics: Nvidia GeForce GTS 250
RAM: 4Gb

Dash consistently takes 5-7 seconds to open the first time after boot, and 1-2 seconds to open every time after that. This has been the case since installing 12.10.
