it would be nice to find out if it happens with libapt or apt command-line tools too
perhaps with:
apt-cache show avahi-autoipd=x.y.z | grep Size
where x.y.z is the candidate version of avahi-autoipd returned by apt-cache policy avahi-autoipd.
