Compiz reloaded
PPA description
Packages from Compiz Reloaded - https://github.com/compiz-reloaded
These are NOT official packages. The patches I've applied may or may not work for you. See changelogs for details.
Some brief install instructions....
First make sure compiz is not running e.g.
marco --replace
sudo killall gtk-window-decorator
Then remove any previous versions of compiz:
sudo apt-get purge compiz-core libdecoration0
Then install the compiz reloaded 'meta' package:
sudo apt-get install compiz-reloaded
Plus any additional packages you may like (always restart compiz after installing plugin packages):
sudo apt-get install compiz-plugins-extra compiz-plugins-experimental compizconfig-settings-manager emerald
Restart compiz:
compiz --replace
Adding this PPA to your system
You can update your system with unsupported packages from this untrusted PPA by adding ppa:adamsmith/compiz-reloaded to your system's Software Sources. (Read about installing)
sudo add-apt-repository ppa:adamsmith/compiz-reloaded
sudo apt update
