Extra Drivers

This archive contains drivers that are not available in the Ubuntu repositories.

nct6775-dkms:

This hwmon driver is for motherboards (e.g. the ASUS P8Z77-V series) with the Nuvoton NCT6106D, NCT6775F, NCT6776F, or NCT6779D super I/O chips. It exposes fan controls and temperature sensors for use by system health monitoring tools like fancontrol and Psensor.

I am no longer maintaining this package because I no longer have hardware that works with the driver. I would welcome someone else skilled in this sort of thing to take over for current Ubuntu releases. Marvell releases new Yukon driver sources here:

This is for people using Marvell Yukon ethernet adapters and having trouble with the sky2 and skge drivers that come with Ubuntu. My package puts Marvell's latest driver source under control of DKMS so it will be automatically rebuilt and installed with current and future kernels. Please let me know if it works for you.

Tip: If this driver loads but your network card is still using the sky2 driver, you might have to add one or both of these line to a file in /etc/modprobe.d/ :

blacklist sky2
blacklist skge

(DKMS normally adds these lines to /etc/modprobe.d/dkms.conf when my package is installed.) Once that is done, you'll have to rebuild your kernel's initrd file and reboot in order for the changes to take effect.
