Timelapse Deflicker Utility
PPA description
Command line utility to deflicker timelapse images
This is a command line utility written in C++ based on the timelapse-deflicker perl script written by Vangelis at https://github.com/cyberang3l/timelapse-deflicker/utility
Almost all the functionality of the perl script has been implement in this utility. Additionally following features are implemented to boost performance.
1. Program is multi threaded, images are grouped together and processed in separate threads. These threads are made to run in separate core by using CPU Affinity. User can specify how many CPU cores the utility can use.
2. There is --fast option available which makes luminance calculation faster by downscaling image before luminance calculation.
3. Out put images can be scaled to different sizes like HD, 2K, 4K or custom dimension.
Adding this PPA to your system
You can update your system with unsupported packages from this untrusted PPA by adding ppa:sandeep-pn/timelapse-deflicker to your system's Software Sources. (Read about installing)
sudo add-apt-repository ppa:sandeep-pn/timelapse-deflicker
sudo apt update
