Firefox ESR
PPA description
This is Mozilla Firefox ESR, Extended Support Release which will be supported for a 54-week period in which time there will be scheduled security and stability point updates every six weeks (but no new features or interface changes.) Further, add on compatibility status (with any given addon) will not change during the support period.
To install, first remove the existing firefox by entering from the command line:
sudo apt-get remove firefox
followed by:
sudo apt-get install firefox-esr
