Built packages:
1. Pidgin
Pidgin 2.5.8 for Jaunty, Intrepid & Hardy.
I've built Pidgin 2.5.7 with a few fixes (patches) from the still-under-development Pidgin 2.6.0 for:
* file transfer
* user/buddy icon
* phantom buddy (appears online even when buddy signs off)
Thanks to V3n3rix for backporting the patches.
3. pidgin-plugin-pack
The package contains the pidgin-plugin-pack with Group IM included (it isn't built by default - developer choice). The package has 30 plugins which should prove useful.
Group IM adds the option to send an IM to every online buddy in a group.
After installing make sure to enable Group IM in Tools->Plugins.
