I'm using stable Ubuntu, and trying to set it up everywhere I can [when appropriate].

I was used to tune my Gentoo Box, until I got sick of background recompiling everything. But Gentoo is a nice distrib, Plz do not consider I am trolling or whatever.

Ubuntu is one of the most promising Linux On The Desktop attempt.

I wholeheartly agree with Sabdfl, explaining distribs must collaborate and develop tools to avoid doing things twice or more. Accordingly Launchpad is one of the best collaboration tool ever made available for the mass.

I'm not sure when Free Software will conquer rapidly the desktop, but it's gonna happen.
