Instead of "mpiCC" use "mpicc" on the configure line. On my system (Ubuntu 12.04) mpiCC points to /usr/bin/ mpic++. openmpi instead of to /usr/bin/ mpicc.openmpi. This may explain why the C compiler options are not being recognized. You never know, this may resolve the libltdl problem too.

Unfortunately the build fails as the Mac M1 Monterey compiler can't assemble x86 instructions it seems. Is there something I can do to make this work? Running the tools via Rosetta is painfully slow...

You have a couple of options though (short of upgrading MQ to at least 6.0): - you can compile PyMQI on a Windows box which has MQ 5.3 installed as outlined here http:// packages. python. org/pymqi/ mingw32. html. I was doing it several years ago and it worked perfectly fine.

The error is reported them on the SIS Mirage 3 graphics card. This graphics card is not supported by Ubuntu. Every time you install a new version of Ubuntu always gets 800X600 with no option to change.

The duplicate status is *clearly wrong*, as #2037214 refers to the "evict_inodes" issue (now fixed at some point) whereas this bug report is, according to its title, about the "workqueue: inode_switch_ wbs_work_ fn hogged CPU for >10000us 4" issue. This has not been fixed (I'm seeing it on 6.8.0-31-generic in Noble).
