We just rolled out a new feature for Launchpad’s Git repository hosting: Git-based merge proposals can now be linked to Launchpad bugs. This can be done manually from the web UI for the merge proposal, but normally you should just mention the Launchpad bug in the commit message of one of the commits you want to merge.

The other change affects merge proposals that supersede another merge proposal. The merge proposal page explicitly states that it supersedes a previous proposal. It also lists all the comments from that previous review, giving them a yellow background and a link to the superseded review so you can easily tell them apart from comments on the ...

If the branch is merged into mainline, we should probably show this as well. Having an easy way of seeing the commit messages of the new revisions would be nice too, and being able to see a diff even nicer. > Any comments before I JFDI? I have checked the logs for our mail-server and there were no messages for the list on July 15th or 21st when I made comments on the second of the above proposals. Is this a bug in Launchpad? - Andrew
