Since my printer does not have enough RAM, I have to use the PCL drivers, as with the postscript drivers, I run out of memory on my HP3020 printer. But with the with the PCL driver I get the following error: "prnt/hpcups/HPCupsFilter.cpp 505: cupsRasterOpen failed, fd = 0". My version is hplip 3.9.12.

I'm trying to install HPLIP 3.18.12 on Ubuntu 18.04. So I dowloaded the installer and started it. I use all the defaults, everything seems to work fine. The plug-in installation starts, works fine also. It finishes successfully but the I get the following message: error: The device you are trying to setup requires a binary plug-in.
