Two things about naming : - IMHO and according to my distro policy (Mandriva) that is dual GNOME and KDE based, screenruler should be called something more specific like "gnome-screenruler" (my prefered name) or "gruler" (like before) or even "gscreenruler" or gtk-screenruler, but screenruler is too generic. - the names of the icon files should be in a config file to be easily changed.

Ian: it does not run. It gives me./screenruler. rb:25:in `require': no such file to load -- gettext (LoadError) from ./screenruler.rb:25. Also, once it is working, it would be nice to provide a ppa until screenruler gets back to ubuntu in 12:04 :-)

Hello, I like to install this ruler on my suse 12.1 desktop. I'm, wondering as it does not have any configure, makefiles or, python setup files. I know this is made in the ruby language so how do I convert this source code into an executable or run this program. Thanks.
