AttributeError: "'NoneType' object has no attribute 'stop'" when registering an existing account

Bug Description

Preconditions:
Need to have a U1 account with at least one UDF setup to sync on the computer.

Steps to reproduce:
1. Click on the "Devices" tab
2. Click the "Remove" button & confirm removal
3. Click the "Agree and Continue" button
4. Click the "Sign me in with my existing account" button
5. Log in
6. Click the "Finish" button
7. Leave the folders selected to sync (should default to folders selected) and click the "Next" button
8. Click the "Finish" button

Result: Sorry, an error has occurred and Ubuntu One needs to close. Details: AttributeError "'NoneType' object has no attribute 'stop'"

Expected result: Control panel displays

Still happens on 3.0.3.
After closing the wizard, if you open it again, you will be logged in to the control panel.

I can't find a version number, but I'm on 12.04 fully updated. It's good to note that after restarting Ubuntu One, the files do in fact get synced despite the error.
