Bug Description

Sound was working very well in 11.10, after upgrade to 12.04 there is no more sound. Initially after upgrade there seemed to be no ouput devices listed in the Sound settings.
After adding a line to config file (options snd-hda-intel model=generic) there is an "Analog Outuput" entry, but still no sound.

Try removing the "randomsound" package if you have it installed?

Hello, thank you for the advice.

I have updated to 12.10. The randomsound package is not installed, but the
problem is still there. Do you have other ideas?

Regards

It works. Thank you very much!
Do you want to close the report or should I do something?
