Bug Description
Hello,
I've being using Samba with OpenLDAP on Ubuntu 10.04 and after upgrading it to 12.04 smbd does not start anymore.
I did verify pam/ldap integration and everything looks fine. I was able to login with a ldap user through ssh, did getent passwd, smbldap-grouplist and smbldap-usershow. Everything looks fine, except smbd.
I've installed samba debugging symbols and attached my configuration, logs and the core itself.

Hello,
I was able to start Samba now commenting the following lines on smb.conf:
ldapsam: editposix = yes
ldapsam: trusted = yes
When upgrading, I received a warning that idmap directives are now obsolete in smb.conf and I've commented them. I'm not sure on ldapsam entries but maybe this is the case.
