[jaunty] smb doesn't work with kde kioslave

Bug Description

Before openoffice 2.2 I couldn't open any files via smb protocol.
Now with the latest openoffice 2.2 it gives the following message when opening a file via smb protocol:

(i) Protocol "smb" is supported only partially. Local copy of the file will be created.

With OOo 2.3 you can open a document on a smb share with konqueror. But you
can not open a document on a smb share from the kfiledialog in OOo.

So here is the small patch to make it works.

Just override ooo-build/patches/src680/fpicker-kde-partial-kio.diff with the
attached file.

This patch add the string smb at line 146 of the diff.

I looked and the patch is already applied in Hardy but it still doesn't work properly. I have emailed the original author of the patch who works for SuSE and asked him if it happens to work for him.

Installing openoffice.org-gnome gets this working - not ideal though! This must be a bug in openoffice.org-kde (which has always been an afterthought it seems) or at least an as yet unsupported feature.

Does this mean you guys can get Dolphin/Konqueror to view any smb:/ shares?

I first of all thought that it was my smb.conf file but it worked fine viewing shares through Windows
I thought that was interesting and it also seems to work vice versa

but not linux to linux or to be more specific KDE4 to KDE4

as when I use the smbc terminal client which works just fine any way around - very odd.
