Bug Description

What? "Mugshot is an open project to create live social experiences around entertainment." It is a 'web 2.0 aggregator", in that it can hook into feeds from popular social networking sites and display information on the desktop, through a notification area applet.

Why? Mugshot has a userbase who run ubuntu, and many are currently using 3rd party packages.

This guy provides packages from a separate repository:
http://www.nighton.net/
but he seems hesitant to submit them to Ubuntu's actual repository. Someone needs to help him out.

The package in REVU is a bit outdated.
Heikki Henriksen and I are working on Mugshot package for Debian, we are just afraid about the licence of Mugshot and his compatibility with Debian licence policy.
Work on the package is available here : http://svn.debian.org/wsvn/online-desktop/?sc=0
Patches on loudmouth are necessary to make it work with the 1.3.3 version (current version on Debian unstable / Ubuntu Hardy).
Quick & incomplete port on Ubuntu are available in my PPA : https://edge.launchpad.net/~gilir/+archive , if you want to test.
