Bug Description
Ubuntu 12.10 Quantal
Shortcut "Home|Ubuntu" on launcher disappears after closing the window as per last step mentioned below.
Following the below steps produces the bug:
* Open Chromium and go to a website, say ubuntu.com
* Go to the menu "File" -> "Create Application Shortcuts..."
* Select the checkbox "Applications Menu" (you can deselect the "Desktop" one)
* A new window is opened, and the launcher will continue matching it like a
chromium application.
* Close the chromium window.

This is normal, since you haven't pinned the icon to the launcher yet. The icon will still be searchable in the dash, which is what Chromium means by "Applications menu".
