The crach occurs during thumbnail generation. No crash occures if directory has no images or mp3 files with album cover.

Seems to happen if gtk2 and gtk3 based nautilus extensions are installed at the same time.

re-assigning back to nautilus. I don't see what should be done on the GCC side

Is not reproducible anymore with recent builds of nautilus. Thumbnails work again. Reopen if you still have this bug.
