nova-compute always dead on RHEL6.1

Bug Description

When I deply nova-compute based on epel repository, I found openstack-nova-compute always dead but pid file exists.
While there is no any log file generated in /var/log/nova.
The OS is RHEL6.1. The nova.conf is copied from controller node. nova-compute node is separated from controller node.

[root@comp02-r11 nova]# service openstack-nova-compute status
openstack-nova-compute dead but pid file exists

While using cmd /usr/bin/nova-compute --config-file /etc/nova/nova.conf, it works pretty fine and generated log file under /var/log/nova.

I also checked the permission under /var/log/nova, owner is nova.

The same issue as nova-consoleauth etc. components.

It is due to permission under /etc/nova,
chown -R nova:nova /etc/nova

Changed in nova:
status: New → Invalid
assignee: nobody → will.fu (willfly0620)

I am also facing same error while checking status of nova-comoute node on RHEL 6.3..

i set permission to /etc/nova but not working,,
