When selecting the help icon on the dialog opened by edit->preferences, the location box says "Document Not Found" And the page below has :
"Document Not Found
The URI ‘help:ubuntu-help/nautilus-views’ does not point to a valid page."
This bug report was made harder to file in that there seems to be no "about" button anywhere. The menu bar seems to be missing too, but that may be the "new style". I had to use ps x to confirm that this was nautilus and not thunar.
