Bug Description

any application using graphical acceleration causes X to crash (beryl, "neverball", glxgears...).
This happens since I did the last automatic updates with update manager.

I'm sorry, being a somehow new user I can't give much more details even as for the precise package that was last updated. Feel free to email me and ask me for additional details (please be precise on the paths, etc...).

Ubuntu Edgy eft 6.10, Dell inspiron 9400 with Nvidia 7900 GS, nvidia propriatary drivers version 9746.

Hi, the problem was solved by installing the latest (9755) nvidia drivers. Sorry for not trying that first!
I can still attach those files but I don't think it's still needed.
