group membership expire date "self renewal" can not be set: "Wrong Type"

Bug Description

Was trying to edit settings for https://launchpad.net/~ubuntustudio-bugs, but I get an error when saving.

Under "Self renewal period: (Optional)", which I set to 365, I get the error: "Object is of wrong type."

That picture is of membership policy (how people join). This bug is about the renewal al rules (how people are renewed id you configure membership to expire).
