Bug Description
As you can see here- https:/
To be able to automatically generate OVAL definition, I think it is important that packages follow a consistent version nomenclature

Once an epoch has been introduced, it cannot normally be backed out.
This package has had it's epoch since 2001, to assist with the migration between bind8 to bind9.
An epoch serves an import job, and external tooling should respect the Ubuntu & Debian Policy for versions. More information on the policy can be found, http:// www.debian. org/doc/ debian- policy/ ch-controlfield s.html# s-f-Version
Thanks.
