On Youtube, videos on google and some other sites where I was able to view flash video Firefox froze. MOst of the time the application would freeze after the video had finished (so that was nice of FF to allow me to watch it :) ). I haven't used the Session recover function of firefox as much as now ...

This is on a Feisty Fawn 7.04 beta up to date system with Nvidia drivers (closed source) and Desktop effectes enabled.
Flash player version 9.0.31.0 by the way.

My up to date Feisty installation works perfect with the flashplugin-nonfree in the repositories. However, I DID experience the same problem as Azalin before on Dapper and Edgy on this laptop, but with flash v9 that problem disappeared for me. And I never had these problems on my other computers...

Also, mikalife.fr seems to work for me.. the site is just slow here.

Thank you Charckut for taking the time to report this crash.

Is it always reproducible? I so indicate the steps to do it. Also what plugins/extensions and it's versions do you have enabled?
Thank you in advance.

It seems that when Desktop effects are turned off, flash videos will play normally. No freezing of Firefox. When turned on, Firefox seems to freeze and not respond anymore.

Azalin, as you are testing flash sites, in case you get a crash or a firefox freeze, could you please try to obtain a backtrace by following the instructions on https://wiki.ubuntu.com/MozillaTeam/Bugs, or upload the crash report that probably will be generated during the crash and that will be located at /var/crash. And please describe the steps that lead to the crash/freeze of firefox.

If you take the time to you do that, please fill up a new bug report. It will be of great help for us.

Thank you in advance
