Thank you for taking the time to report this bug and helping to make Ubuntu better.

Have you changed the bind9 configuration at all? For what purpose did you install it?

Please could you attach copies of the files /etc/bind/named.conf and /etc/bind/named.conf.options? Check that they don't contain any confidential information before attaching. Once done, please change the bug status back to New.
